There is quite a lot of skill involved in landing a decent fish on light tackle, especially early game. Fishing Adventure was that and this is different. To temporarily disable the Hotkeys, press CTRL-H after trainer isĪctivated. It's more than an arcade fishing game in all honesty. If you HOOK the fish properly and have EASY CATCH on, you should have time to manipulate the weight before you reel it in. Make sure to modify this BEFORE you have it back to you and deciding whether to keep it or release it. Once you hook a fish, you can use this to manipulate it's stats. You can use this to play realistic, but also change it so you can teleport and do other things at whim. In Sandbox you can Teleport on the Map and also do Underwater. You can protect the rod and reel with other options, but still heavy fish require the correct gear to reel them in. Note that fish too big for your reel or rod can break the rod and reel and be impossible to reel in, so use numbers here that make sense, or have the gear to handle it. You can modify the weight in the trainer editor. Toggle on and while you are reeling in the fish, it will be a bigger fish. This is mostly designed to try and keep your LINE from breaking. Make SURE you set the hook and the fish is properly HOOKED or they will get off the line no matter WHAT you do, whether this is ON or OFF. But you can discover that in a time by yourself, so again, could be a positive for you. in fish encyclopedia, I would welcome some brief info on what lures/bait/time of the day is prefered for the fish. In just 3 days, I was able to buy best gear and am able to catch biggest fish in the game. economy need some adjustment too, but I am sure it is not that easy. quest system needs some adjustment (some quests are very hard to do and in turn give you very small reward, not worth of putting your effort into it) leaderboards are for biggest fish only - I would welcome leaderboards for each fish separetely (and both monthly and all time, not just monthly reset as it is now) no incentive to catch small fish, as it gives you only small amount of EXP and money (except when trying to catch 5 star fish for a trophy) some bugs and glitches, like sometimes levitating fish above water, rare FPS drops, graphic glitches like missing textures under water, etc (but its early access, so it is to be expected)

+ well arranged and plain and simple inventory and store system (big plus for me, in other fishing games, I was sometimes a bit lost) it just feels more peaceful, serene, beautiful, better art style.) + Nice graphics (altough I like graphics even more in the first UFS game. + Responsive devs who reply on forums, and listen to feedback and seem to really care about their game (compared to Call of the Wild Angler, where devs delete comments and bann people on Steam/Discord just by mentioning this game, like it was in my case, it is a breath of fresh air - avoid Angler!) + Good ratio between arcade and realism (but it depends on what you prefer of course)

While this game is still in early access, it is quite playable now and has a big potential to became one of the best, if not the best fishing game on PC imho. I also tried many other fishing games (Russian Fishing 4, Fishing planet, Fishing online and few others) and this one suits me the most. At least devs are not deleting comments and banning people here in UFS2 forums when giving criticism, like it is for Angler, as I described in my review of that game. Angler was so disappointing and broken when released that I just tried this game instead and since then, I have no reason to go to Angler anymore. I actually came from Call of the Wild: Angler which was released few weeks ago and man, this game, while in EA, is way more fun.
